In addition to being our number one Auntie, Auntie Gorgeous is the heart of our day-to-day operations and planning at Mukisa. She is a Ugandan woman whose life experiences have shaped the compassion, resilience, and understanding she brings to her work. In her early years, Gorgeous experienced the gift of positive parenting and a nurturing environment, while later in life she also encountered some of the challenges that many of the children at Mukisa face. These experiences have deepened her empathy and strengthened her commitment to creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment for every child.

Gorgeous is an experienced administrator whose love for children shines through in everything she does. Her care and commitment are evident in the relationships she has built with the children, from the trust they place in her to the many hugs they eagerly seek from her each day. She has grown alongside Mukisa from the very beginning and remains deeply dedicated to its mission and vision.

As a leader, Gorgeous provides steady guidance, bringing people together, setting goals, and supporting the team toward achieving them. Her administration is thoughtful, organized, reliable, and steadfast, helping ensure that Mukisa’s daily operations continue to run smoothly and with purpose.

Beyond her operational leadership, Gorgeous empowers our part-time early childhood development, art, music, and sports specialists to implement programs that stimulate children’s growth, creativity, confidence, and development. Through her encouragement and coordination, she helps create opportunities for children to learn, discover their strengths, and thrive.
